Club member Kevin Smith (the clubs resident aircraft lighting expert), has kindly offered to donate a prize at the club bonfire (Saturday 7th November 2015), for the best lighting system displayed on any aircraft (fixed wing, helicopter, multi rotor or anything else that resembles a flying aircraft).

The aircraft does not have to fly on the day and will be judged purely on its static appearance.

Kevin’s wife has kindly offered to judge the competition, which will be completed on the day of the bonfire, once it gets dark.

Kevin says his wife knows nothing about aircraft (his words not mine), making her judging, based purely on the appearance of the aircraft, in her eyes on the day.

So come on, get some lights fitted to your aircraft and bring them to the bonfire on the day.

Has anyone got a big HAMMER?

My thanks to all who competed, I thought all the planes were of a high standard Well Done.

First was Alan with his bit of "Bling" all flashing colored lights, well it impressed my Wife anyway.
Second was Simon with the Riot. My Son liked this one, he liked the way the lights shone through the foam.
Third was our Leader John with his Enterprise. What more can I say.

Once again thanks to all those who entered.
