I took one in flight video on the Saturday, I will post it up on U Tube later and post a link to it.

it sums up the weather for the weekend, and it was not at its worst during that flight.

Martin did a lot of flying with his Radian glider, how he managed it defeats me, you should have seen it, I did not know the wings could bend that much in flight.

it was long 24 hours not helped by the cold showery weather, but now that I have had some sleep looking back I also am in no rush to do it again, but I am pleased that we did do it.

Thanks you Martin and Mark for your good company during a long cold wet night.

Richard

PS the video is pretty boring, shot from the Bix 3 with a Mobius camera, but there are odd shots of other models.

Looks like Paul and I went at the right time (6:00 AM).

Well done guys I thought you gauged it just right, helping out when KADMAC were struggling and stepping back when people were on the line to fly.

For myself I enjoyed it, I learned a few things, like how strong Superglue is and that my Generator works a treat, I'm glad we made the (small) effort.

A word of warning the KADMAC team said to me they would never try this again and if it had not been for our lads they would have failed in the first few hours.

So give yourselves a clap on the back.

Kevin

Well done. It sounds like the main challenge was our wonderful summer weather!! I still am disappointed that I had no support 'at home' for me to attend to put it mildly!!!

This event raised just over £9000.00 for the Martin House Hospice.
